Edward R. Weingold, author of A Map of the World (With All Faults), was born in New York in 1941. He is a produced playwright of 12 plays, 20 runs, and has staged 120 shows in the U.S. and England during his 30-year career in the theatre. He has previously published short stories, and this is his first novel. Weingold has written and recorded a monthly piece for National Public Radio’s affiliate feature First Person Singular for over a decade. Weingold currently lives with his spouse, Rina, in Santa Cruz, California.
